These are the terms of using Eos. We've written them to be read, not skimmed past. Plain words, short sections, no traps.
Eos is subscription software: a private place to talk things through by voice or text, with an AI that remembers what you share and responds with care.
Eos is not therapy, not medical care, and not a crisis service. It is not a doctor, therapist, or counselor, and nothing it says is medical or psychological advice. We make no promises about health outcomes. If something it says ever conflicts with advice from a professional who knows you, trust the professional.
You must be 18 years or older. Eos is built for adults, and the app asks your age during setup and takes the answer seriously.
One account belongs to one person. The relationship is the product, and it doesn't work shared. Keep your password to yourself. We may close accounts used abusively (see section 6), where the situation allows, with notice first.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of voice-call minutes: 120 minutes on Essential, 300 on Standard, and 500 on Full. Two promises about how that works:
Please don't: try to break into, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; use automated scripts to run up usage; resell access; use Eos to harass or harm anyone; or attempt to access anyone else's account or data. That's the whole list. Everything else that's yours to say here is yours to say.
Your conversations, memories, and notes are stored encrypted at rest, are never used to train AI models, are never sold, and you can delete a single message or your entire account at any time. Deletion is real deletion. The full picture, including exactly which service providers help run Eos, lives on our privacy page, which is part of these terms.
Eos is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it available, thoughtful, and safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and an AI companion can be wrong or clumsy despite our best efforts. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India.
